The Channel T tide watch by Nixon has insane surf function. It features 5 hand Swiss movement with easy to read tide, moon phase (with tidal range), second subdials and date. It's got 9 jewels! There's an internal rotating bezel with countdown timer, a stainless steel case, and a dual injected polyurethane band. Finally, the 9:00 crown position prevents wrist bite. Tested to 100m depth.

Comment: This watch is very unique and high quality. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I wasn't a huge fan of the gunmetal color, which lacks the contrast on the numbers because the face is actually lighter and more metallic than I thought it would be. The internal rotating bezel is pretty cool, and works very well, but is not as quick to set as a traditional external one. The band feels very high quality and the fit was great for my wrist (mediumish.) I love that the crown in not at the 3 oclock position, which can poke your hand if you do anything active. Overall a great watch - maybe a tad overpriced for a cheapskate like me, but Surfboards etc had a nice deal.

Comment: Love this watch! I spend my summers on the beach doing a lot of ocean kayaking and wanted something that tell time and tides and could be worn in the water. Always hard to order something like this online, but was not disappointed. The weight is heavier than I expected which I like. Setting the tide and moon feature was easy to understand. Wide wrist band, double holes, gives a nice, solid fit. Very sharp looking such that I find myself wearing on weekends and sometimes to work, not just a beach watch. Not oversized, but larger than a standard watch. The hands slightly glow at night, but hard to read, so if that is important to you I would not suggest this watch. This watch is almost too nice to wear in the salt water!
