The Decision watch by Nixon features a 9 jewel Swiss Made movement with date, easy to read tide hand (what looks like the second hand), and a stainless steel case with screw down crown crown. A custom injected silicone strap, hardened mineral crystal face, and a stainless steel buckle complete the package. Tested to 200m depth.

What is jewel movement? Great question. It's our understanding that the jewels provide the lubricant needed so the pins and moving parts (the guts of the watch) do not become out of synch or simply seize up over years of use. More jewels lead to more accuracy, longevity and expense.
