The Channel T tide watch by Nixon has insane surf function. It features 5 hand Swiss movement with easy to read tide, moon phase (with tidal range), second subdials and date. It's got 9 jewels! There's an internal rotating bezel with countdown timer, a stainless steel case, and a dual injected polyurethane band. Finally, the 9:00 crown position prevents wrist bite. Tested to 100m depth.

What is jewel movement? Great question. It's our understanding that the jewels provide the lubricant needed so the pins and moving parts (the guts of the watch) do not become out of synch or simply seize up over years of use. More jewels lead to more accuracy, longevity and expense.
